Prof Ken Ife is International Development Consultant and Development Economist,
He was London Enterprise Ambassador and served in many Boards/Advisory positions to Her Majesty’s Govt in UK and London Government led by Rt Hon Tony Blair/Gordon Brown & Mayor Ken Livingstone (including as Director at HM Home Office CDF; London Food Board; Govt’s Business Link for London). He served as the UK Govt DfID Trade Adviser to Federal Govt of Nigeria (2011-12).
Prof Ife has been Member of the Presidential Governing Council of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) from Jan 2023; Currently promoting National PPP Concession on Cassava – Bioethanol Value Chain Development in Nigeria; promoting PPP Concession on methanol/bio-methanol/e-methanol Value Chain Development in Nigeria; Lead Consultant to ECOWAS Commission on Industry & Private Sector Development, since 2008; Consultant to Central Bank of Nigeria on Macro-economic Policy Advocacy & Communications Strategy; Visiting Professor at several Universities including Nigerian Defence Academy; Chairman of Enugu State TCPC; National Co-ordinator (TWG) of Digital Economy; Bio-Economy; Science, Technology and Innovation, in the formulation of National Development Plan(NDP 2021-2025) and Agenda 2050; Lead Consultant to Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget & National Planning in the development of Bioeconomy Policy Framework and also Management Consultant on Bio-ethanol Pilot; Member, National Central Working Group on “High Growth Clusters”. He consults for EU, World Bank, AfDB, UNDP, DfID, UNECA, FAO, GIZ, KAS, AU/NEPAD as well as Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria; Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget & National Planning; Fiscal Responsibility Commission; Office of Accountant General of the Federation and Office of the Director General of Budget of the Federation.
